1. Our Role
Mansfield Residents Directory is a privately operated reference. It identifies and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections related to people who live or lived in Mansfield, Texas. The site does not host government records and is not connected with a government office, court, or records custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use this site only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make an FCRA-regulated decision about credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance
- Scrape, copy, or republish site content at scale
- Disrupt the operation or security of the site
3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Material on this site, and results from any linked search tool, are not consumer reports. They may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Outside Resources
Government portals and independent third-party services have their own terms and policies. We do not control or take responsibility for their content, availability, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
The site is offered "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that site information is accurate, complete, or current, or that an outside portal will operate or return correct results.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this site or a linked resource, including a decision made from records found through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the site operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The site's original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. You may link to a page or quote a short excerpt with attribution. Republishing complete pages or systematically copying material is prohibited.
9. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
10. Restricting Access
At our discretion and without notice, we may block or limit access for a user who violates these terms or abuses the site.
11. Texas Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Requests for existing public information held by a Texas governmental body are governed by the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code chapter 552. Under §552.221, a custodian must produce information promptly or respond within a reasonable time; if it cannot produce the information within 10 business days, it must certify a production date and explain the reason. This site is not the custodian for those requests.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
